Why there was no live edition of "Africa in Focus" -- Host is in Kigali, Rwanda, thanks to Rwanda Development Board-sponsored trip

Today, Tuesday 1 July, is Ghana's Republic Day -- a national holiday.

Although it is partly true that the Press never sleep, the obverse is the case for 1 July, as things have conspired that I am in Kigali, Rwanda, for a familiarization tour of the country, which is kindly sponsored by the Rwandan Development Board(RDB) and RwandAir.

This trip coincides very well with the 17 June edition of our show, which was entitled "East Africa Rising", which also unofficially kick-started our advocacy on bringing West and East Africa closer together.

Apart from the expected pictures, we shall be bringing you greater insights into the trip on the blog and social networks once normal scheduling of the show resumes.

If you are yet to check out our facebook page, kindly do so here:

Thank you for your patronage!
Best wishes,
